I believe that it is God’s desire that everyone receive a personal revelation of God, not only as Awesome God (and He is) but also as our personal warm, loving, caring Father! A Father that wants us to talk with Him daily and live a life of intimacy and deep affection with Him that will embolden us to become men and women of significance in our world. My intimacy with The Father is what empowers me!
Romans 8:15 “For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the spirit of adoption and by Him (the Spirit) we cry Abba Father!” (“Affectionate Father)
Galatians 4:4-7 “God sent the Spirit of his Son Jesus into your hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father."
What then is the fruit of living a totally secure life with God as your Affectionate Father?
Last week I talked about 7 Marks of One Living With a Personal Revelation of True Fatherhood, this week, I want to talk about the outcomes in your daily life if we would embrace such a revelation.
7 Outcomes of such a relationship with Abba Father:
We will be men and women without fear [relates to an outside force or attack].
We will be men and women without anxiety [relates to internal human struggle].The Bible declares: “Perfect love casts out all fear!” The revelation of God as my affectionate, protecting Father conquers all fear!
We will be men and women who do not compare ourselves with others.
We will be men and women who are not intimidated by others.
We will be men and women who are capable of bold initiatives!
We will be men and women who dare to dream impossible dreams because our personal Father is, in fact, a Creator and therefore not restricted to our humanity.
We will be men and women whose driving force in life is to please Him and bring Him honour.
I believe God gives an invitation to each one of us to enter into such a relationship. He now offers you a life of far greater intimacy and potential than you have previously known or dreamed of. He wants to give you a revelation of His Father’s heart toward you. That is my pray for you at this time.
