It’s a great thing to wake up and greet the day feeling good about life!
With so many things that can fill our days it is essential that the fruit of that energy in time is something that we can truly feel good about.
Again and again in the creation account in Genesis, God takes a look at what He has done that day and the Word declares: “And God saw that it was good”. God felt really good about His endeavour! He felt satisfaction and fulfillment as He gazed at the fruit of His labour.
I would like to suggest to you that you can feel good and tired at the same time. A good day’s work can be tiring and yet wonderfully fulfilling, especially if it is spent in serving others. I believe that the difference is knowing that what we are doing is God-breathed and that His smile is upon it. When an action is the outworking of a Holy Spirit controlled life, it can be truly energizing to our hearts.
A great question to ask would be: “What are you doing that pleases you and God?”
Life can be awesome when both you and He get a buzz out of it! |
