What declaration is your life making to your adversaries in the unseen spirit realm? Your life’s declaration is made by your attitudes, your priorities, your responses, your words, your actions, your body language, your communication. As someone who carries Kingdom authority, your life, 24/7, is making a very loud declaration! What is it that your life and my life is declaring?
The Bible (Hebrews 12:1) tells me that we live our life before a great crowd of witnesses. Witnesses in the heavenly realm and witnesses here on earth. We are a LIVING DECLARATION! What message do you send out? What are you declaring? What are you characterised by?
Yes our life’s declaration can be clearly seen in the life of our family, by those who work for us and those whom we work for, and any sphere in which we have influence. But, I want to focus upon the impact that your life’s declaration has upon the spirit world, the world of Gods’ reality.
If we truly believe that “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers” (Eph 6:12) then the message that we declare to those spiritual powers is of critical importance.
I remember a statement made by Dian Fossey a world expert upon the great apes of Africa before she was brutally murdered. She said that when a large 270kg Silver Back Ape charged at you with hate in its eyes, and the intention and power to rip you limb from limb, the worst thing you can do is run! You must stand your ground, look it straight in the eye and do not look afraid! Let alone obey every screaming, instinct your body, to run!! Friends, that sounds insane.
But she knew one fundamental truth about those apes: confidence and boldness confuses them and leaves them unsure of their authority in that moment. They simply cannot comprehend anyone standing up to them and staring straight in their eyeball!!
The boldness of that authority that stands before them is greater than their anger and obvious physical superiority. There is no difference with demons and spiritual forces – forces that have the spiritual power to rip you to pieces except for the fact that they are subject to your authority in Christ.
Friends, there is enormous power in having confidence and being bold in one’s declaration of it when dealing with spiritual gorillas! Confidence and boldness has nothing to do with pride and arrogance. It is born out of an intimacy with God’s heart and the deep inner security and assurance that one gains out of that relationship.
I am bold because I am secure in My Father’s love! I ask again, what is your life declaring? What declaration is your attitudes and actions declaring? What are you characterised by? What is the message that you are sending out to principalities and spiritual forces?
Now here’s the key. Your attitudes and actions are the fruit of the convictions you hold. In fact, your life is the sum total of the convictions you hold. You live life out of your convictions, whether you know it or not, whether you like it or not.
So do you have a conviction concerning “The Kingdom”? The absolute rule and dominion of Your Heavenly Father? Do you believe in His sovereignty? Are you convinced that your steps are being ordered by Him and that you are 100% secure as you walk in intimacy with Him? What non-negotiable convictions do you hold?
Friends, this authority is available to us all, and its as simple as walking in obedience to God, and living a life based on Biblical conviction. Today I want to challenge you to evaluate your life as a declaration. Your life’s declaration is made by your attitudes, your priorities, your responses, your words, your actions, your body language, your communication. As someone who carries Kingdom authority, your life, 24/7, is making a very loud declaration!
