Prophetic Ministry in the Church |
|||||
Course Overview:The purpose of these seminars is to help build a healthy prophetic ministry in the church. For this reason, we require our prophetic training to be hosted by a local church and attended by the senior minister.
Helen has a passion to bring foundational teaching that will help build healthy prophetic ministry in the church, as well as to empower Christians to hear from God. Format:We recommend that 3 hours be set aside for the prophetic training. This allows for two sessions plus a 30 minute break. However this is open to flexibility as needed.
Content:Session 1: Introduce prophecy, share a Biblical vision for prophetic ministry in church life, learn how to receive a word of encouragement for the church, and each to have an opportunity to do so (written words to be passed on to pastors, not distributed within the group). Session 2: Discuss character qualities pertaining to prophetic ministry, introduce personal prophecy including its guidelines, practice, and to have an opportunity to receive and share encouraging personal words in a safe environment (small groups). Both sessions reinforce the need for and nature of guidelines and protocols for prophetic ministry in your church. For more information about protocols, check out our PDF article 'Prophetic Ministry In Church Life: Why Have Protocols?' You can download it here. Testimonials:‘Helen ministered with a powerful, authentic authority. Her prophecy was sharp and the seminar was powerful.’ ‘Helen was involved in leading and coordinating our Prayer Department. During this time, the prayer area flourished and grew. She also developed training material and conducted seminars on prophecy, prayer and spiritual warfare, which helped strengthen this area in our church. Attendees’ Responses to Previous Training:
