Frequently Asked Questions

If you are having any issues with the signup, unsubscribe or updating your subscription, please read below for some answers to the most common questions.  If your question is not answered here, please do contact us and we will gladly help you.

  1. Where is the online signup form?
    Our signup form is located here.
  2. What happens after I signup?
    You should receive a confirmation email where you need to click on the link to confirm your subscription.  You should then receive a final welcome email.  If you have any issues with the signup process, please contact us.
  3. Help me, the signup form didn’t work!
    If you have filled out the form and clicked submit, but nothing happens, or you are not taken to a thank you page or if you do not receive the confirmation email, then please contact usimmediately and we will register you directly.  We appreciate your patience with us as we work to get the system right.
  4. What emails can I subscribe to receive on that form?
    Our online signup form has options for you to receive the following emails from DMM:
    – eNews – sent once per month with the latest news and an article from David
    – Believing In You – Steve McCracken’s daily devotional (visit his blog here)
    – Believing In You – Mobile Version – Presents a version of BIY optimized for small devices
    – Event Updates – Sent whenever there is an event we are putting on that may be relevant
    – Resource Updates – Sent whenever we release a new book or resource that may be relevant
    – Prayer Requests – We really value those who pray with us whenever we have specific requests
  5. I’m finding the text to small to read on my mobile device, can I get a mobile-friendly version?
    There are a couple of options if you are finding it hard to read our emails on small screens.  Firstly you can always click the link at the top of the email that refers you to read the email in your web browser.  If you are on a mobile device there may be a link in the web page that then opens up that will rearrange the content to suit your device.  Secondly, you may try updating your preferences (there is a link on all our email campaigns for this) to select ‘Believing In You – Mobile Version’.  If you select this, make sure you deselect the standard version or else you will receive it twice every morning!  If you are having any trouble, please contact us.
  6. How can I unsubscribe?
    Please note that removing your name from our database will stop you from receiving ALL our emails (including our eNews, Believing In You etc). If you would simply like to stop receiving one, but would still like to receive another one, please locate a recent email from us and click the “update your details” or “manage your subscription preferences” link. However if you wish to stop receiving all our emails, you may unsubscribe here.
  7. How can I update my email address or other details?
    If you have recently stopped receiving an email subscription that you were expecting to receive, or if you have changed your email address or would like to view what information relating to you we have on our database, you may do so by clicking the “update your details” or “manage your subscription preferences” link in a recent email we have sent you.  If you are having trouble with this, please do not hesitate to contact us and we can help you directly.
  8. How come when I unsubscribe from one email subscription I stop receiving ALL emails?
    We are using an email system that allows us to add you to certain groups depending on which options you selected when you signed up, however you are only on the database once and therefore when you remove yourself via one of our emails, you actually remove yourself entirely.  If you wish to still receive emails from us, please signup here and select which emails you’d like to receive.
  9. I used to get your emails but I haven’t received anything for a while, have I been removed from the database?
    Its possible that our email system had an issue sending to you at one time or another and your email address may have been subsequently blocked.  This is a technical issue and although we have no direct control over it, we do understand your frustration and apologise for any inconvenience.  Please contact us with your latest email address and we will reactivate your details on the system.
